TOWN OF MACKFORD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, November 13, 2023 at 7:00 PM a PUBLIC HEARING on the PROPOSED 2024 BUDGET of the Town of Mackford in Green Lake County will be held at the Town Hall located at N2270 County Road A, Markesan, WI. The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the Town Clerk’s office by appointment only. following is a summary of the proposed 2023 budget

NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS
OF THE TOWN OF MACKFORD
Notice is hereby given of the Special Town meeting of the Electors of the Town of Mackford on Monday, November 13, 2023, immediately following completion of the Public Hearing on the amended proposed 2024 town budget, which begins at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall. The Special Town Meeting of the electors called pursuant to Section 60.12(1)(b) of Wisconsin Statutes by the town board for the following purposes:
- To adopt the amended 2023 Town Tax Levy to be collected in 2024 pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 60.10(1)(a).
- To approve the 2024 Highway Expenditures pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 82.03(2).
The Town Board will convene after the Public Budget Hearing and Special Town Meeting to adopt the Town Budget for 2024 pursuant to Section 60.40(4) of Wisconsin Statutes
